Final authority on the immigration system of Japan lies with the Immigration Bureau. Please refer to them with any questions you have. We regret that the Iwate government cannot answer your questions regarding immigration or visas.

Consult with an expert advisor at the Iwate International Association

The Iwate International Association has an administrative scrivener (expert on immigration matters) come once a month to give free consultations to foreign residents.

Date and time: The third Wednesday of every month, 3:00pm–6:00pm
Place: International Exchange Center on the 5F of Aiina (right by Morioka Station)
