Support Fund and Allowance for those forced to take leave due to COVID-19

Individuals who were forced to take unpaid leave or are working in SMEs that are unable to provide paid leave during the COVID-19 crisis may apply for this fund to cover a certain percentage of their lost wages.

Special Cash Payment

As part of the emergency economic measures following the novel coronavirus outbreak, a Special Cash Payment system is being implemented in order to support households quickly and accurately.

System for Social Welfare Loans (Emergency small loans)

Considering the impact of the novel coronavirus outbreak, we have expanded the loan eligibility criteria for low-income households, and are providing special emergency small loans to those who are worried about their living expenses due to temporary layoffs or unemployment.

System to Support the Self Reliance of the Impoverished (Housing Security Benefit)

Those who have lost their homes due to employment separation, or those who are at risk of losing their home, we will provide a sum equivalent (see note) to that of your rent so that you may steadily continue job hunting.

(Note) There is an upper limit to the amount payable, in addition to payment requirements such as revenue and asset statements.
