Volunteer Activities
Volunteer activities are coming to be increasingly valued in Japan, just as in other countries. Activities range from social welfare and environmental protection, to international relations.
Increasing international relations activities mean that there are more opportunities for Japanese and foreign nationals to mix, and there is a greater need for foreign language abilities. The Iwate International Association ( >> Iwate International Association ) organises a wide variety of events and also manages a volunteer register. Please do get involved.
