One-Time Pension Withdrawal Payments

National Pension
All adults above the age of 20 and beneath of the age of 60 residing in Japan are required to join the national pension scheme. (Members of the welfare pension scheme and their dependent spouses are automatically deemed to have joined. However dependents must make an additional registration.)
Application to join, and to receive pension payments are dealt with by the pension division of your local municipal office (you will need your name seal, and will be issued with a pension book).
