Application for Confirmation of Facts in Alien RegistrationForeign nationals who have completed alien registration procedures are legally required to confirm their registration within 30 days of the fifth birthday after the initial registration. However, those who initially only intended to remain in Japan for less than 6 months at the time of registration are required to apply for confirmation within 1 year of registration.
