Medical Subsidy for Overseas Students
The Japan Student Services Organization offers to subsidize a portion of the medical costs paid by overseas students.
Enrolment in this scheme is done on the educational institute level, so please check with your university (student affairs division). It costs nothing to join this scheme, and it can be used in conjunction with health insurance. However, it is limited to overseas students only.
