Employment housing is housing that workers can rent. Apart from a portion of the housing, workers are able to rent accommodation on a first-come-first served basis. The property is owned by the Employment and Human Resources Development Organization of Japan was set up, and through the introduction of the Public Employment Office, new employees, as well as workers who have been transferred, or have had to move as they were outside commuting distance, are able to rent this housing to ensure they are well provided for. The Manager of the Public Employment Office is responsible for determining who is eligible for housing.

 Conditions
(1) Those who are moving to start employment and have been introduced by the Public Employment Office.
(2) Those who are in great need of housing due to a job transfer.
(3) Those who need to secure housing in order to maintains employment stability.

 Eligibility
(1) Either single or accompanied by family.
(2) One-twelfth of the applicant’s annual income must exceed the total cost of rent and utilities by over three times.
(3) Must have a guarantor. If a relative, his/her monthly income must exceed the total cost of rent and utilities by over three times.
