Moving In / Out

Before you actually move in to your new home you will need to arrange for necessary utilities like electricity, water and gas to be connected. The utilities companies are specified for each property so please contact them and arrange for connection as of the day you move in.

You will be billed for each utility. The most common ways to pay these charges are direct debit and bank transfer ( >> Direct Debit ). It goes without saying that if your payments are in arrears the utilities may be cut off.

On vacating a property you will again need to contact the relevant utilities companies in advance, to arrange for services to be stopped and to pay any remaining charges. Representatives of the utility companies in question usually perform the necessary on-site procedures on the day you vacate the property. You are required to continue paying utilities’ fees even after moving if you fail to make proper notification.

In some cases the landlord may make all such necessary arrangements so please check in advance.

If you need to transport furniture there are a number of removal companies on whom you can call, or you can rent a truck and do everything yourself.
